PV Design Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary:
Act as the primary support for the Engineer Department in designing electrical systems to help incorporate installation of the company’s commercial and industrial solar projects. He/She will be part of a team of PV Design Engineers in developing system design concepts, drawings and specs.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
– Conduct technical support including but not limited to site surveys, technical presentation with client.
– Prepares PV system layout, Bill of Materials, and detailed design for a specific project in an acceptable time frame.
– Prepares construction drawings such as site plans, mechanical racking, single line diagrams, PV layouts, electrical calculations and all related drawings.
– Prepares solar PV system performance yield analysis.
– Support in preparation of commercial proposal.
– Work collaboratively with other departments to plan, provide and maintain optimum productivity and efficiency of each project.
– Support the sales department in client meetings if necessary.

Qualifications and Skills Requirement:
– College graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Licensed / Professional Electrical Engineer is a must.
– At least with 5 years of experience as a PV Design Engineer in the renewable industry business engaged in the commercial and industrial segments.
– Experience reading and understanding technical specifications and construction documents.
– Proficient in various Electrical Design software.
– Willing to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City from Mondays to Fridays.
