Website Maintenance Specialist

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with clients and internal team members to understand website maintenance requirements and objectives.
– Help develop and maintain websites using Shopify and WordPress platforms. Additional CMS’s may be required depending on client requirements.
– Customize and optimize themes and plugins to meet client specifications.
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring website functionality and performance.
– Perform quality assurance testing and ensure websites are responsive and cross- browser compatible.
– Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
– Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
– Provide technical support and guidance to clients as needed.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Website Developer with a strong portfolio of Shopify and WordPress projects.
– Proficiency in Shopify and WordPress theme customization and development.
– Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
– Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
– Experience or familiarity with React, Vue, Angular or similar javascript frameworks a plus.
– Experience or familiarity with headless CMS systems a plus.
– Good design eye.
– Ability to jump into new programs / systems / concepts and learn to work with them quickly
– Experience with responsive design principles.
– Knowledge of SEO best practices.
– Excellent spoken and written English
– Excellent communication and ability to work with and communicate to clients.
– Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
– Self-motivated and able to work independently.
– Agency experience is a plus.
– 3 – 5 years of experience.
