PHP Developer

Job Description

PHP developer Intermediate : Perform software development and maintenance functions for MY Evolution Business Support Systems. Manage vendors and be able to independently design, develop, code, test and debug new software or make significant enhancements to existing software. You will be reporting to the Technical Manager of MY Evolution and work closely with others departmental member such as Customer Success Department. You will be responsible for supporting the development team and systems of the company.

Required experience PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML5, Jquery, REST, APIs.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Computer Science / Engineering related degree or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience • Knowledge of the common PHP and web server applications and their solutions.
• At least 2 years of professional or academic experience in developing web applications.
• Familiarity with various databases and their declarative query languages • Able to build out the required database structure by a simple Database schema
• Understanding the creation of web services using JSON/REST/XML.
• Candidates are able to communicate in English as the role requires candidates to communicate with colleagues
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as SVN considered a plus.
• Knowledge Linux environment will be a plus Personal Skills Required
• Ability to work remotely with little or no direct supervision
• Able to multitask • Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Able to present their thoughts/ideas in a concise and logical way
